For better or worse?
When I vowed for better or worse, it was conditional. The worse are the things that are beyond our control. This means that issues which cause vexation and disrespect ought not to be considered as part of "For better or worse". A person should not subject themselves to belittlement trying to honor "For better or worse". The worse in my mind were external forces we cannot control. It is really unjust I believe for someone to subject them self to such a thing. The worse that I vowed to keep was as we get old together and the body succumb to age and all the things that comes with old age such as sex, strength, productivity and any other you can think of that you have no control over. I will ensure that I discuss Marriage and the matter of for 'better or worse' with my children; it is imperative that they know from early what is the worse they will endure and where they will draw the line and they should discuss it with their partner at such time. ...
